Old Fire Pit Torn Out and Rebuilt Right in Taylorville

Here's what we were working with - a beat-up, sunken-in circular fire pit that had seen better days. Crumbling bricks, ash-filled dirt, and zero structure left to it. Not exactly the kind of spot you want to pull chairs around.

We pulled the whole thing out and started fresh. The old pit came out, the new block pavers went in, and we fitted it with a steel liner and lava rock base. Clean lines, solid build, and something that actually looks like it belongs in the backyard.

The difference between a thrown-together fire pit and one that's built properly comes down to structure. Stacked block like this holds its shape, handles heat, and won't start shifting and falling apart on you after a season or two. That's what we're going for on every one of these.
